Topic: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

Hi,
I'm trying to configure FreeRealty after completing of the set up.

First issue: when I go to http://www.epricerealty.com/FR/FR-3.0-0 … /admin.php and trying to enter user name and password nothing happens. (Tried both admin/password and my DB account

Second Issue: When I click on Submit Query get white a screen

Third Issue:
When I go to http://www.epricerealty.com/FR/FR-3.0-0 … /index.php and click "Agent LogIn" link get the following error "Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/epricere/public_html/FR/FR-3.0-0.rc3/FR-3.0-0.rc3/includes/func.php on line 1155"

Could you look into it and let me know if I've missed something during the install
thanks,
lex

You should be able to use the user/password that you used to set the database up with. There seems to be an issue in the login function, I'm guessing a session variable that is being misread (I'm attempting to track it down). Try using the logout.php page or closing your browser.

I need a little more information on this, please. Which *exact* page? (I really need to make those buttons more sensible)

This would appear to be that there are no agents created yet. This needs to be done through the admin interface in admin/agenteditor.php if you have your configuration set to only allow admins to add users. Click on the "Add User or Agent" link.

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

I'm still unable to login to admin. Any suggestions on troubleshooting it

http://www.epricerealty.com/FR/FR-3.0-0 … /admin.php I've tried my DB and admin/password

Thanks for your feedback Pat.

Second Issues:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.epricerealty.com/FR/FR-3.0-0 … /admin.php
2. Click "Submit Query" button

In Mozilla I get actual error message it's "The requested URL /FR/FR-3.0-0.rc3/FR-3.0-0.rc3/admin/emailpass.php does not exist."

thanks

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

Hi Lex,
It looks like you found an unreported bug in the emailpass.php links. I will have to take a look at the code to see how that can be fixed. The first issue though... have you tried logging out using the logout.php script and then logging in? I am working on a modified login() function, but there seems to be something set in session variables that isn't getting cleared out. Can you look at the database itself? You should be able to login with any user listed as admin level in the users table.

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

I looked at the DB there is a admin account but it's still does not take it

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

Did you happen to try using the logout.php script?

I'm uploading rc4 right now smile It has a few fixes in the login functions that may remove these login issues (which I have not had on the test machine at all)

Also, did you happen to notice if you have any blank entries in users?

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

Just installed rc5. But still was not able to login. Went to 'users' table and added a user. after that was able to login.

Note: When try to add a listing get the following error "/home/epricere/public_html/FR/FR-3.0-0.rc5/images/listings. Checked there is no 'listings" file in images folder.

Yeah, I haven't gotten the scripts to create that empty directory sad If you are using folders, you need to create images/listings and images/agents. Change the permissions (or ownership if you have high enough access on your server) so that apache can write to the listings and agents directories... if you don't have root access to your server you will have to change permissions to rwxrwxrwx (666 - yikes!) I prefer to change the group to apache and make the permissions something like 664...

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

After I add a listing and want to view it I get the following error:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/epricere/public_html/FR/FR-3.0-0.rc5/propview.php on line 95

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/epricere/public_html/FR/FR-3.0-0.rc5/propview.php:95) in /home/epricere/public_html/FR/FR-3.0-0.rc5/includes/func.php on line 844

Re: Issues with latest version of FreeRealty

hmmmm..... try changing propview.php line 94 from

$result = mysql_query($query);

to:

$result = mysql_query($query, $link);

The header error should be cleared up too if this works.
