Topic: MySQL to MariaDB migration - testing

I have a pretty full plate these days with all my other duties and a newly purchased home... however, I recently learned that Fedora, now RedHat and in line with RedHat, CentOS will be switching to MariaDB as the replacement for MySQL. MariaDB was forked by the creators of MySQL (minimal research done by myself, just following the 'net) and should be a seamless replacement for MySQL. Of course, nothing is ever really seamless so I will have to do some work to see about making sure everything works with MariaDB.

If anyone has already started using MariaDB as their replacement, I would love to know the results, quirks, etc.
